The 45 minute journey will take you along the roads of Melaka town to view some of its historical landmarks, before plunging into the Straits of Melaka via Pulau Jawa. From the waters you will be get a unique view of some of sites along the coast as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunset (if the hour is right). The tour ends when the Duck retraces its journey back to the starting point.

The DUKW, popularly called the DUCK, is an amphibious truck developed by the United States during World War 2 for transporting goods and troops over land and water and for use approaching and crossing breaches in amphibious attacks. DUKW were also used as rescue vehicles. Winds up 60 knots (110km/h), rain, and heavy surf prevented conventional craft from rescuing the seven stranded coast guardsmen, but the DUKW had no trouble. DUKWs have proved their seaworthiness by crossing the English Channel and many other exploits at sea.Although its designation as a DUKW may seem to be a military pun, in fact in the terminology developed for military vehicles in World War 2, the D indicates a vehicle designed in 1942, the U meant "utility (amphibious)", the K indicated all-wheel drive and the W indicated two powered rear axles. Today, the DUKW are no later in use due to the steel hull which is susceptible to rust and its engine system which are lacking in power. We are now using the more technology advance LARCS which hull are stronger and reinforced with aluminium state of the art hydraulic engine systems which can go on speeds and power that is predecessors technologically dream of. 3 day 2 night Koh Lipe 1th-3th april 2014 Langkawi Telaga habour,From there getting speed boat to Koh Lipe... But don't know why there was a changes at telaga harbour on the day we departing... The troubles going on is we need to tranfer from telaga harbour to Kuah Jetty by bus that been provided,it takes around 45 minutes to reach the Kuah jetty we are here at 1p.m and the immigration will open at 2p.m,we went into jetty mall for a walk while waitting the immigration to open , something that we couldn't miss is the duty free shop in the mall we get tons of cigaeatte and beers...haha Heng!!...At here I wanted to complain about the speedboat,I booked online line previous one month @ www.bundhayaspeedboat.com for speedboat ticket price At RM250 two way...But My friend bought the ticket on that day at jetty was Rm240 and there some booth that giving diferent price..my friend ticket pattern was different with me,so I thought we boarding differen

I had a visit before this Kwan Yin Tong Cave Temple(观音洞) ,Ipoh ,and this was my second visit.. After spending sometimes in kwan yin tong environments then we dicide to enter the 3D Wallpainting that been open since 23/01/2014...that means few day back before chinese new year 2014...it was a good opportunity for everybody that visit Ipoh during this chinese new year and their earns alot...hehe,it's was full house for few days. Mahsuri was a young woman who lived in Langkawi, an island in Kedah, Malaysia, during the late 18th century. According to folklore, she was accused of adultery and executed by stabbing.
