Hiking - Waterfall - Historical Monument

Wonderful Friday Morning with awesome weather , after everything have been prepared we move from Petaling Jaya around 8 AM . Actually We planned for Sungai Chiling waterfall but when we reach there it mention that closed due Don't Know what the reason , and we called the person in charge that noted on the banner . He gave us a new place to explore just few minute away from Sungai Chiling that called Kampung Orang Asli Pertak .

From north south Bound highway Turn into Rawang , drive Through some kampung Road to reach Serendah for breakfast . It takes about 40 minute drive from Damansara Uptown to reach here .

Sam Hing Restaurant三兴茶餐室

We reach Sam Hing Restaurant三兴茶餐室 at 9AM and taste out the hidden gem Signature noodle , Homemade noodle that done freshly every morning before the sun Rise . We just in time since the shop open at 9AM , We need to get a proper breakfast before the hike .

The best companion shoes "Kampung Adidas" when hiking met wet and dry situation , The fully rubber shoe usually used by Rubber Estate Workers for working . This shoe can buy at Fook Hing Loong mini market just opposite Sam Hing Restaurant 三兴茶餐室 for RM8.50 only . The grip of the shoe is strong when step on mud or slippery stone , wear along with thick stocking .

And go opposite again , There was a restaurant Kedai Kopi Yee Kee 义记茶室 , Get some foods for standby to void hungry while on the top .

After the hidden gem breakfast at Serendah , Continue another 40 minute drive to reach Kampung Pertek . from Kuala Kubu Baru , you will see a sign which points towards Kampung Pertak, where you will take a right turn into Kampung Pertak . From there , go straight until you reach Metal Barrier . There was a guard house look alike At the Barrier , Orang asli will charge RM 1 per person for the entrance fee . Drive till the end , you will saw a hanging bridge . Park the car nearby and start trekking from the hanging bridge as the starting point .

Trekking toward will met the collapse bridge , be careful while going through and you can cross the river beside the bridge if you wan .

There will be a few checkpoints along the way but if you keep towards the right side path during the first hour , you will be on the correct route to bukit kutu . There are markers along the Bukit Kutu trail as well in the form of red caution tape or red plastic bag tied to trees , just to follow that as well . And the left side path is heading to Lata Medang Waterfall .

There will be a lot of bamboo trees along your way and enjoy the beautiful view then . During the hiking you will notice tall bamboo trees or big tree fall and blocking the path , Just low down to go through . There's a part that you will come across steep root climbs , don't forget to take a beautiful mother nature picture of it and becarefull while climbing on it . It might get injuries if step on wrong path .

After hike for one and half hours , we decide to make a U-turn back down to the foot of the mountain . Because we don't know how long will reach the top and can't located the waterfall anymore plus our foot had some injuries .

While Hiking somewhere in the rainforest , I found this Unique Leave sharp with red and Orange colour . It was so special since surrounding with greenery .
