Kampung Kacang Putih , Buntong - Ipoh - Perak | Malaysia

The history in Kacang Putih business turns back to the day when Indian ancestors were brought in to Malaysia by British colony . The life sustaining small business was made for compensating family income during tough periods before Malaysian independence .
Till Today , They are proud to be the fourth generation for the business . Kacang Putih originates from a small village near Gunung Cheroh, Ipoh several years before Malaysian independence. The Indian families residing the place began to sell Kacang Putih in a very small scale by walking several kilometres away to compensate their income during the ruling period .
After Malaysian independence , the government relocated the residence for safety purpose to a new place which is then named as Kampung Kacang Putih . Here , the Indian families developed Kacang Putih to be well known in Malaysia . These families mainly involve in wholesale business apart from retail business and export business in small scale .
set up factories to cope with the increasing demand with 120 varieties of snacks .  business has grown so much now and has a good response from not only the indians, but malays and chinese locals too .
