Khao Kheow Open Zoo is been chosen to join the Conservation Botanical Project of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the third child of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand. 

they use the space here at Khao Kheow Open Zoo for conservation and to develop a centre for conservation in eastern Thailand. We aim to be a centre of study and research in a variety of biological resources for conservation and to help future generations.their purpose is also to be a learning centre for groups which are relevant to the main duties of support and development of the quality of education in the province through zoo affairs.

Deer Park
This park is more than an acre in size and designed so that visitors can take a car and drive through, or take the Auto Tram to enjoy the park. Here you can feed the deer by yourself and take photographs with them.Enjoy the pleasant environment with places for visitors to sit down and relax. This park is one of the top ten attractions at Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

Penguin Parade
Penguin and cape fur seal exhibits Penguins from the South Pole are the newest attraction at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chon Buri. These snappy little 'birds in   tuxedoes' and their hilarious antics are drawing crowds of locals   and foreign tourists alike.

The West African Pygmy Hippopotamus, a small hippopotamid and one of only two existing species in the Hippopotamidae family. The Pygmy Hippo has a reclusive and nocturnal behavior. It is a semi-aquatic creature and rests inside water bodies for long hours to keep its skin moisturized and its body temperature cool. It is an herbivorous animal that mainly consumes ferns, broad-leaved plants, grasses and fruits that are easily available in its habitat.

Feeding the Hippos is fun, you can’t miss a mouth that size !!.
You get a good overhead view of the Hippos, make sure you don’t fall in, hippos are responsible for more human deaths than any other animal.

They are right next one of the other residents I was very amused by, the giraffes.you can feed more or less anything in the zoo, and vendors at the entrance and throughout the park sell vegetables or dried food that you can feed to the animals, but the giraffes are the most fun to watch eat with their absurdly long and articulated tongues.

After visit all the animal out there , We been drove here to watch some show here and it was our last station in the Zoo...
Of course, animals are naturally recalcitrant beasts that would rather laze in their little hut out of view than perform for the visitors. To rectify this, several of the animals are put to work in shows.

Binturong (Bearcat)

These species come from Viverridae family which includes Mongooses, Fossa, civets and genets. Binturong is considered as solitary and nocturnal animal. Earlier Binturongs were found easily in thick jungles but unfortunately now it’s rare find.
Binturongs are heavy and large animals with furry skin and color wise they are either black, brown and grey. They have scent glands under their tail that they use to mark trees to notify others animals about their territories. Surprisingly it’s said that it smells like popcorn. Binturong swims, dives, and spends long time in the water.

How to get there:
Khao Kheow Open Zoo is located at Umphur Sri Racha, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Pattaya. You can take Sawngteow / taxi here, or contact the zoo for private round-trip transfer services.

Opening hour and entrance fee:
The zoo is open from 8 am to 8.30 pm daily. Basic entrance fee is THB300 which covers “Journey to the Jungle” show.

Other shows, programmes and tram rides are offered under different packages of half-day, 1-day, and 2-day tours by the zoo. Accommodation and dining are available in the zoo.
