Sakura appear in Alor Setar | Malaysia

As if the sakura spring amusement in Japan . That can be illustrated when the phenomenon of tekoma flowers or even better known as sakura is lay at along the  Paddy field especially in the vicinity of Alor Setar city .
Tecoma flowers (Tabebuia Rosea) or locally known as pokok kertas tisu (tissue paper tree), started blossoming a couple of weeks ago in Kedah.The streets have been transformed into flowers blossom in our very own northern state .
You don’t have to travel all the way to Japan to see Sakura blossoms, just make a road trip to Kedah. You can also experience these pretty pink and white Sakura flowers.
Take a slow drive along Jalan Kuala Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Expressway, Darul Aman Expressway, Jalan Sultanah, Jalan Stadium, Jalan Gangsa, Jalan Langgar, Jalan Tun Razak, Persiaran Sultan Abdul Hamid and the surrounding areas of Wisma Darul Aman and Darul Aman Stadium, and you will find Tecoma trees in white and pink lining the streets.In Kota Setar alone there are between 500 and 600 Tecoma trees (tabebuia rosea species) in full bloom.
