Sri lanka was on my wish list for so long and now I'm stepping on the ground Of Sri lanka. A small group with four of us just nice to explore Sri Lanka with car transpotation but this time bought with Slighty expensive flight ticket from Air Asia that cost me RM5++, You might thought RM5++ is cheap for you but as a Traveller like me it has a worth price range.
Sri Lanka officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is an island country in South Asia, located in the Indian Ocean to the southwest of the Bay of Bengal and to the southeast of the Arabian Sea. The island is geographically separated from the Indian subcontinent by the Gulf of Mannar and the commercial capital and largest city, Colombo. It has a rich cultural heritage and the first known Buddhist writings of Sri Lanka.
It took about three and half hour flight time duration from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) to Bandaranaike International Airport Colombo, Sri Lanka. And Malaysia is 2 hours and 30 minutes ahead of Sri Lanka means example : Malaysia 12.00pm = Sri Lanka 02.30pm. Malaysian Ringgit to Sri Lankan Rupee Conversion is 1 MYR = 24.3563 LKR.
For the First day Early morning at 5am we Head to "Fort Railway Station", Fort railway station is a major rail hub in Colombo. The station is served by Sri Lanka Railways, with many inter-city and commuter trains entering each day. When the railways first opened in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in 1864, Fort Station is in the heart of the city, located next to Colombo Fort and Pettah.

So, Please be Patient. Look for more Photo : More Photo
One Kilometre walk from Freedom Homestay, we decide to visit UNESCO World Heritage Lion Rock around 3pm before it close at 5.30pm. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District, The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. this site was selected by King Kashyapa for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes.  I enjoyed the visit to Lion Rock but I don’t think it was worth $30 USD (RM125). Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.
One of the joys of traveling is visiting local markets. There is nothing better than shopping for the ingredients necessary for a family meal with a local. Markets hold the secrets of the culture, all the little bits and pieces that hold communities together. A proper small town market full of local products, perfect for curious travelers and photographers alike.
When I was walking with the locals, talking to the locals, bargains with the locals or riding with the locals. They will ask "are you Sri Lankans?, Do you speak Sinhala?". "you have the Sri Lankans pure look, and then I will say" Nope, I'm not Sri Lankans". Sri Lankans are really friendly. Some are friendly with motif and some are not, Travel smart.
In Colombo, they were everywhere, On the outside they look kind of like moldy coconuts. Woodapple smells like. I don't know how to describe. people eat woodapples blended up as juice or in a fruit shake. Just like opening a coconut, it can be a challenge to open a wood apple. The prettiest way, is to hit it around the belly of the fruit with a knife or just slam it on the floor. So although the woodapple fruit is a little strange indeed and has a pretty funky smell, I think it tastes awesome and it’s healthy too!
Foods scam in Sri Lanka Restaurant for Tourists. However, as the country sees an influx of tourists. this has also led to an increase of tourist targeted scams, no menu to see price what you ordered, end up with unreasonable price on the total bill. We argue with this two restaurant to calculate the food item one by one.

Advices : Dine your meal at any restaurant that provide you food & beverage menu, so you can track your bill. Look for more Photo : More Photo

Had a good and bad experience during the trip, the good is get to explore Sri Lanka about the places and cultures they have, the bad is can't get to experience the most beautiful scenery train ride due to protest happening in Sri Lanka. All the railway in Sri Lanka forced to close down, I definitely will come back again for the train ride.
