 How to go to Pulau Tuba?
There are two Jetty's can access to Pulau Tuba, one is from Marble jetty near kuah town and another one is Jeti Pelangcongan Kuah (JPK), Pekan Rabu.
The island is a 20 minute boat ride and the fee is Rm5 one way, 
Get local operators Bestuba for your ground and water activities arrangements when you are in Pulau Tuba.
Once you arrive on Tuba Island, the simplest mode of transport is to rent a motorbike. For the day tripper exploring the island by motorbike gives you a glimpse of the simple life of the island.

Here we are at Tanjung Peluru, the peaceful beach to have fresh mini oyster. Knock yourself and have how many you like, Don't forget to bring along some sliced lemon, tabasco sauce or lime to enjoy it.
Have a walk with buffalo at padang ragut paddy field, it was a dry season now.

At The evening Activities, we went for island hoping with the boat tours, Visiting the bat cave island, berdua island and mangrove tours.

After Dinner, We onboard with the local Fishing Boat to squid Jigging not far from Pulau Tuba. it was a great experience for the beginner, Squid jigging is usually done at night. Glow in the dark features are attached to wire hooks as a specific lure to attract Squids.
Last But not least from me, Hike up to Gua Wang Buloh that is located about 150m above sea level in the northern part of Tuba Island. This cave is one of the most beautiful cave in langkawi with varios cave structures that are well preserved.
That's what i did at pulau tuba with the great hospitality and care by Bestuba, great experience and knowledge that I learn is worth it. or else I'm Nowhere. Bestuba is the best!

Pulau Tuba, a hilly island and the only inhabited one, besides the main Langkawi Island. It is a strikingly beautiful Island located 5 kilometres from Kuah and a 20 minutes boat ride. All the residents living in this Island are mostly Muslims so it is also known as the Islamic Island.

It is a traditional fishing village and the villagers prefer the old ways of drawing water from the wells although it provides all the other facilities like power, fresh water supply, telephones and they also provide a number of homestay program unionised by Malaysia’s Fisheries Development Authority. Here the entire household heads work as fishermen and do farming.

The Island is not fully developed thus contain a natural home ground to wildlife and has an ample growth of herbs and shrubs. A rare species of flora knows as Tuba plant is common here and its roots are used to catch fish. You will also see Hornbills flying all around and some other domestic and wild animals at various sites in Pulau Tuba. The fisher folks occasionally go to the forest to collect herbs, medicinal roots, wild fruits, wax and honey and sell them to complement the family income. The women are also very skilful and keep occupied in weaving pandan, coconut leaf mats and other handicrafts for basic usage and to support the family income.

#CNY Day 5 (Horse Year 2014) After me and my cousins had our breakfast at 忠记兵如港口大树头炸料粉   we continue our day trip to Kwan Yin Tong Cave Temple,just a 15 minute drive from there.... I had a visit before this Kwan Yin Tong Cave Temple(观音洞) ,Ipoh  ,and this was my second visit.. Mahsuri was a young woman who lived in Langkawi, an island in Kedah, Malaysia, during the late 18th century. According to folklore, she was accused of adultery and executed by stabbing. Her tomb, Makam Mahsuri, has become a tourist attraction on the island.
